My tips regarding tying & automatic of watering plants of my seedlings

Showing you seedling bed
these are 2nd & 3rd seedlings

I would not be without my little boogie, I can sit on it & do most of my jobs with my plants.
My tools I need are handy inside the lid.

This is a plant ready to to take the basal growth & bottom leafs off

The job completed
notice layflat tubling for watering

Bringing down the breaks

Job completed

Different size rings & clips, labels & my off cuts of nylon curtain material

This is great idea for keeping your plant positioned before you using rings. placed between 2 canes & figure 8 & tied, it's slightly elastic & easy to adjust
I got this curtain material from Sam Oldham in the seventies & it's still going strong.

I grow lots of my seedlings on natural break

This is monro clip which are over forty years old I am afraid you can't obtain them now

W clip which is ideal on thin canes

This has taken the place of Monro Clip

I use 2 canes tied together with electricans tape when the canes start to rot which saves you cost of buying new also if you need to extend length to suit the plant

This is my automatic watering, works of timer & solenoid valve
For my earlies I use layflat tubing
I hope these few tips have been useful.
