"This is a wonderful book and I am sure it will be an inspiration to future hybridisers of this ever popular plant, but don't take my word for it, read it now."
- John Woolman

"This book is well worth reading,it is full of useful information regarding chrysanthemum plant breeding. I have known Harry for many years and I know him to be a honest man, who has held nothing back in explaining his methods in this book, proof that these methods are successful is evident on the show bench and in British National Chrysanthemum Society register of chrysanthemums, I have used many of harry methods myself. I recommend this book, it is interesting, informative ,full of information and will be helpful to anyone wishing to try their hand at chrysanthemum breeding. Harry and his book have my best wishes."
- Arnold Fitton

"With out a doubt this book is a must for novice and expert growers alike. Using the advice in this book many more growers will be taking up the art of hybridisation. Well done Harry, another winner! ...So why not take John Woolman's advice and get a copy of the book for yourself. I have really enjoyed reading it and so will you."
- George Harrington

" Harry, My brother Tom is very pleased with your book. He especially likes the layout and the easy to follow instructions. He is sure that his friends will be very interested in the book. Will report on further developements in the following months. West Moonah Tasmania, Australia 17/Jun/2002."
- Evelyn Spencer

"Hi Harry: Your book is very interesting with clear descriptions and wonderful photos, written in a very agreeable and understandable way. Here in Canary Islands, we have no opportunity to see exhibition varieties. Hope to see you in Gran Canaria next January. Hasta pronto! Evelyn ."
- Evelyn Valsequillo Gran Canaria

I found Harry's book very easy to read, and with the step by step instructions and stunning photographs (plus Harrys enthiusiam!) it has given me the confidence to 'have a go' at breeding my favourite flower - Thanks Harry and every success with your book."
- Derek Goodwin

Harry well you asked me to let you know what I thought of your book breeding made easy, as the old saying says the proof is in the pudding, well your book arrived at the right time to try it out, I crossed six cultivars and now I am ready to plant out the seeds, when you said that the seeds are small that was an understatement, it is hard to believe that seeds that small can grow into such beautiful flowers, well some of them ? now all I have to do is wait for them to flower . Well harry as your says breeding made easy, it is easy when you know how and I will breed every year from now on thank you for making this part of growing chrysanthemums even more exhilarating and rewarding ,so if I can do it then anyone can, so I hope that all the people that has bought your book will follow your book and lets hope that there will be some champion blooms just waiting to arrive. well once again harry thanks for the book.jock ."
- Jock Johnstone Avonhead Christchurch New Zealand

"With a lot of experiences, your book 'Chrysanthemum Breeding Made Easy' was really nice, practical, easy to have a go, having useful tips. I am enjoying your book here in Korea. By using your book, you made the breeding of chrysanthemum easy and fun. Thanks for sharing your wonderful experiences with all people over the world. Lovely Harry!"
- Lee Byung-Joo

Harry's book is wonderous, I have commented before about this man but since buying his book I have grown as a hybridist. I thought I knew quite a bit until I read Harry's unselfish work of art. Technically it is faultless. It has prompted me to have my own web site which should be on line in the new year. I breed dahlias but if I bred Zantedeschia (Arum Lily)I would find it unputdownable. The section on his method of feeding is worth the six quid. So much knowledge for so little and all proceeds to the National Chrysanthemum Society what a bloke. I knew him before he knew me and what he's done is to bring his exhibiting prowess into a new dimention of breeding.
